I dont care who you are there is something in this book to inspire everyone to live to their full potential and truly enjoy life. Highly recommend this book! Being read by the author makes it that much better sine he was there and the emotional impact of that makes it real for the listener. Get this book!

"The Nikki Sixx you never knew"
What made the experience of listening to This Is Gonna Hurt the most enjoyable?As a photographer I find his insight to art, music, and life as the title implies most interesting.
What was one of the most memorable moments of This Is Gonna Hurt?He is very open about his addictions and personal relationships.
Have you listened to any of Nikki Sixx’s other performances before? How does this one compare?No
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?Yes. The part about his sister was very moving.
Any additional comments?Highly recommended. If you are into music, art and like to be inspired to live life too the fullest, go for ths book and let the good times roll.

"Good Book"
This is good book not just for Nikki Sixx fans but for everyone. He makes you open your eyes and see that we should find beauty in everything not just what is considered beautiful by the media. He released some of his own inner demons and in the process encourages you to do the same thing. If you read the Heroin Diaries then listen to this book you can really hear how much his life has changed, how he went from being a junkie to happy man and it encourages you to work at making your life happier. This book takes you on a journey of finding beauty within yourself so you can be happier.

"Love everything about this book"
The photography is provocative in it's views and I love the uniqueness. I have the book and travelled 6 hours to have Nikki Sixx sign it with my husband and son. The audiobook enriches the entire package because Nikki narrates. I recommend to everyone!!!!! I can't wait to get his next book and find Heroin Diaries in Audio form. My personal favorite!

"Its Nikki Sixx"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?If you love Nikki Sixx or even like Motley Crue you have to hear this book. I read the book and then bought the audio book, He makes it so real. His voice is so soothing. The chapter about his sister Lisa makes me cry every time. You can hear the pain in his voice when he talks about her. He is a very proud man, proud of his children and proud of what he has done with his life from the dirt streets and heroin addiction to the man he has become today.

"NOT A FAN!"
I was not a fan but the book looked interesting enough and I love bio(s) and this was on the New York Best Sellers list so I thought I would try it. I didn't hate his message (although he is totally arrogant and has an out of control EGO. HIS VOICE and the WAY he reads the book grated me on EVERY LEVEL! I have never given a negative review but don't do it!
