    "Variety of Narrators &"

I agree (in part) with some of the other posts about the narration on the subscriptions...It borders on "monotone."
    - An idea would be to mix male/female voices for different topics or subject matter.
    - Another "cool feature" would be to announce "time marks" for each subject at the beginning of the subscription to allow the listener to "fast forward" to the approximate spot for a subject they are particularly interested in...saves time-adds value.

"Please, please -- A New Narrator!"

I love the writing and the subject matter -- but PLEASE, get a reader who will do justice to the stories. The periods, commas, exclamation marks, and titles are there for a reason! Yes, the guy has a nice resonant "radio voice" but I'd trade that in an instant for someone who will read with just a tad more passion and interest.

    "A Painful Lesson"

This was my first foray into the world of periodical and I can only hope that they are not all like this. The content of the articles is good but the narrators are SO bad that it is painful to listen for more than a few minutes. monotone, monotone, monotone. An example of how bad it is, the narrator was reading the title of the next article before I realized that he had finished the first one.

    "Excellent Publication, Narration Needs Help"

I agree with most other reviewers of this publication. The articles themselves are excellent! In fact, some are even so good that the listener doesn't have to struggle to get past the narration. None-the-less, the narration could be much better. What always makes me struggle is that this narrator is prone to add inflection in places that don't require it or, worse yet, actually hinder the information comprehension.

    "Get another narrator"

The "pacing" of the narrator is terrible. I cannot discern when he is transitioning to a new topic. I also notice a lot of nasal tendency and a rising intonation at the end of sentences. Please listen to other good speakers and you will hear the difference.

    "This stuff is ear candy"

I agree with other reviewers, I'd go as far as to say retire the narrator! Remember you have an international audience and select speakers with care. A different voice for each article and a bookmark would be great, as would increasing the volume a little (nothing wrong with my ears).

"Do you guys actually read the reviews yourself?"

I haven't listened to Fast Company for over a year, now. The reason being...well the narrator. Somebody check his pulse. I am gonna give it a try, again and hope that someone has payed attention.

    "written for today's worker"

This is a good magazine. It is written for today's worker. and today's work is fast paced and constantly changing. This Mag cuts through the crap and gets down to the nitty gritty. Choc-full of great articles and helpful advice by those that are succeeding in the new workplace and economy.

    "Narrator Blues"

Neutral tones are for decorators NOT narrators. Oh for s subtle Scottish accent or at least one that has even a modicum of inspiration
