So I decided long ago that paying for sex would be one of the best (and arousing) ways to save myself from the one thing that would eventually cut far too deep. But Sam was a mistake. Literally. I signed on to "pick up" a stranger at a bar, but took Sam home instead. And now that I've felt his heat, his sweat and everything else, can I really go back to impersonal? Let's just hope he never finds out about my other life.

"...the story of a real and complex woman caught in a difficult situation with no easy answers. Well-developed secondary characters and a compelling plot add depth to this absorbing and enticing work." (Library Journal on Broken)
"Ms. Hart is a master of all genres. Her stories grip you from the onset." (Romance Junkies)
"Another great Megan Hart romance"
Megan Hart is one of my favorite romance writers. Good story line, great characters, and interesting plot twists. I wasn't sure I liked the narrator in the beginning, but I grew to really like her. It was also REALLY nice to see the Ms. Hart brought back Jack one of my favorite characters in her novels. Dan and Elle from her book 'Dirty' also make cameos. If you like romance/erotica audiobooks, this is a great choice. Also make sure to take a look at 'Broken', 'Dirty', and 'Tempted', they are amazing!!!
"Provocative Read"
I've read a few other Megan Hart books and really enjoyed them. The storylines are provocative and the characters are complex and interesting. In Stranger, Grace, a funeral director, prefers to hire male escorts rather than deal with the complications of a real relationship. The book follows Grace and her relationships with two men, Jack, a young male escort, and Sam, a man she sleeps with, mistakenly thinking he is her male escort. The sparks fly between Grace and both these men, each encounter teasing and erotic. By the end of the book, Grace's character does grow and lessons about life and love are learned. Stranger was definitely an interesting read, one I found hard to put down!
"Make sure nobody can hear your headphones..."
Some parts of this are pretty steamy and explicit, but they are woven into developed charaters and a plot. Great choice for people who like good stories, with throbbing members!
Say something about yourself!
"Very hot"
Not as good as "Dirty" but better than "Deeper" I liked how this booked linked to "Dirty"
"Great Characters and Story"
As usual Megan Hart has created very believable characters and a great story. I have enjoyed many of her writings and Stranger is no exception to her excellent quality or work. I enjoyed the relationship of characters to Dirty.
The narrators voice is very feminine so the male voices are not the strongest. But I still enjoyed the audio book very much.
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
"Just OK for me"
**Spoilers** I liked the plot in the book about Grace having a hard time dealing with having a relationship due to the fact that she deals with death on a daily basis, but on the other hand after Sam comes into her life I don't like the fact it takes her so long to alter her lifestyle. I'm a romantic and feel when you meet the man you love then you would want to be with him.
No, it just didn't impress me enough to recommend someone to purchase it even if it's on sale cheap. There are too many other options instead.
I would of preferred a different voice in this type book.
NO! Simply because I didn't enjoy it enough to want to listen to a follow-up.
I'm not impressed with this one.
"Another good book from Megan Hart"
Not as good of some of the other books Megan has written I like them a little hotter but still interesting.
"An OK read"
the story was very long and drawn out.....my only question is....who was the blond with the kid at the end??? And what happened to her????
Like the romance, but love the action involved to get there!
"Sadly disappointing :-("
I got this book because there was a buy 2 get a third for free sale….thank goodness I liked the other two! I have never read a Megan Hart book, but was told that if I liked Maya Banks and Shayla Black that I should give her a shot….*SIGH* sooooo disappointed! This book started off well enough, the plot seemed good, the sex scenes were hot, but then it all just went poof! Like someone told her not to make it over X amount of pages and so when she got close to that imaginary number she wrapped the whole book up in 20 pages…the book that had taken hundreds of pages to cultivate and engross you in the characters…that all went POOF! If you had asked me at hours 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 I would have said this book rocks but then it all fizzled and I was left going, HUH? How had these characters, I had been so invested in, just change their core characteristics…this just makes no sense. I kept listening, hoping for some explanation on how everyone just magically changed to wrap up the book….but no, totally weird and the whole thing just left me with a bad taste in my mouth after that.
