Intriguing

I was very interested to see how you would do a workbook on audio. I found it very easy. I used a notebook to take notes and answer questions. I usually do that anyway so I can go back and redo the study again if I want. I enjoyed listening to it. I think by listening and taking notes that activated two senses and made me pay more attention. I loved it.

great book

A perfect companion to go along with Your Finances God's Way. This study has made me dig deep into my motives when spending money, and I've learned so much from the parables.
I do feel like the introduction to the workbook had a lot of repetitive paragraphs from the book. But the questions are thought-provoking and well worth buying along with the book!.

Excellent, Engaging Workbook!

This excellent workbook really helps you to dig in and examine your choices with money God has given us. All good gifts are given by God and money is certainly one of them. Also the perspective that all our money is God's money. It's important as Christians to be good stewards of it. Rewards in heaven are directly related to how we manage the gifts God has blessed us with. This thoughtful workbook will help you grow in your management concerning giving, spending, saving, etc. This workbook helps put your knowledge in action, as the Bible directs.

A practical, Scripture-focused guide to finances

It's a great pleasure for me to be able to write this review and whole-hearted recommendation of Pastor Scott LaPierre's newest book, Your Finances God's Way!

The author truly starts out on the right foot when he makes it clear to the reader that this book is not merely a collection of his own opinions about money and finances; rather, it is a collection of God's thoughts on those subjects, as they are found in His written Word. I love how he pointed out in the preface that our relationship with money and our level of financial maturity will almost always be a reflection of our relationship with the Lord and our level of spiritual maturity.

It was a great idea for the author to structure the content of this book to reflect the way the New Testament Epistles are written – the theology behind wise money management comes before the "how-to" application of what we should or should not do with our finances. One of the things that struck me in particular was just how much Jesus Himself talked about money – making it the subject of nearly 1/3 of His parables! I appreciate Pastor LaPierre's practical wisdom and insights into Christ-like giving, charity, debt, and God-honoring retirement. And in the very last chapter of the book, he does an incredible job bringing to light how the Bible uses financial vocabulary to point us to the true spiritual riches of redemption in Jesus, Who imputed His righteousness to us so that we poor sinners could be ransomed from the debt of sin that we could never repay!

Whether you are struggling to get a handle on your money, or you think you have your finances under control – either way, this book is a practical, Scripture-focused guide that I would gladly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their relationship with the Lord and use His financial resources for His glory. May the Lord cause this book to be a blessing to all who read it!
