A lesser known passenger was Stephen Hopkins. During the 10 months the Sea Venture passengers were marooned on Bermuda, Hopkins was charged with trying to incite a mutiny and condemned to die, only to have his sentence commuted moments before it was to be carried out.

Beautifully written and performed!
As a direct descendant of William Bradford I’ve been yearning to understand more about his life. This book answered many of my questions and laid out the remarkable history of those early colonists in Plymouth. A relatively short book packed with stories, and true to the character of William Bradford. I truly enjoyed the narrator, he has a great voice and cadence. Excellent book, highly recommend. 👍
