Not what I had expected

Would you try another book from James Patterson and/or Blair Brown?

I have enjoyed several of Patterson's "Cross" books, "Women's murder club" books, and a few other independent books. I enjoy his writing and characters usually. This book was highly different then any of his I have listened too. I enjoyed the characters a lot, I also felt the "sci fi" parts were explained well enough to seem plausible. I even enjoyed his description of the setting. I just wasn't really expecting that "type" of writing out of him. I went for this one up because of the author's name. I wouldn't say don't read it - it is a decent book, I just wouldn't necessarily recommend it if someone asked for some book titles they should try. Not a waste of time, but not the best book by him either.
