Publisher's summary

It is concisely explained what borderline personality disorder is and how it differs from psychopathy.

People with borderline personality disorder have two distinct, simultaneously operative psychological "operating systems". One of these is appropriately adult and sane. The other is infantile in nature.

Sane and infantile minds

This short listen gave me the information I needed for a breakthrough on my research on BPD. Although the author talked about childhood abuse as the cause, I often think that can be birth trauma that is not intentional.
Because it's brief, I recommend having the unlimited Audible account in order to take advantage of these kind of valuable nuggets. The narration was nice. It was the first time I heard this narrator and I liked how serious and authoritative he sounded.
Again, learning about splitting and the 2 distinct operating system was key to my work on this topic. Nice work tying into the mask of sanity.
