Publisher's summary

Things aren't always what they seem....

On a semester-at-sea program for the arts, twin sisters Callie and Marnie Taylor suffer separate tragedies when a rogue wave broadsides their ship, the Rising Star. One twin struggles with autobiographical amnesia. The other has been lost at sea. Or has she?

Reconnect with the glamorous, tumultuous world of the extended Taylor family, including the ever-hopeful Ashleigh, who trusts her intuition and persists in learning the truth while protecting her three daughters; her grieving husband Conrad, the dedicated CEO who must also face the facts about the fate of Jordon's employees in a changing retail climate; and spunky, college-aged Juliana, who kindles an even deeper appreciation among the sisters - and a far stronger perception of their cherished roles in each other's lives.

Webs of Perception, the final novel in Darlene Quinn's Webs series, takes the Taylor family on a gripping emotional journey, disembarking in New York, Paris, London, and Long Beach as they face their greatest challenges in love and loyalty.

Fantastic Page Turner

This was a phenominal book full of twists and turns. I thought it was well written. I thought the pacing was pretty good until about the last 5-6 hours. I wish that would have been a little quicker. I cannot write much as it would give the story away.

I have not read or listened to any of the other books in the series. However, I never would of known this was part of a series, as it reads like a standalone novel.

Karin Allers has an easy voice to listen to.

I have already recommended this book to friends and family.

Twists and turns!

A real who's who! Well-written. I can hardly wait to hear the rest in the series of Webs.

Karin Allers did a great job narrating.

Final Chapter?

I have listened to 3 other books in the "Web" series and definitely enjoyed this one the most.
Marnie and Callie are now all grown up 22 year olds who have finished their undergrad degrees and are spending a semester at Sea Program before continuing on with their educations. Marnie is taking a writing class with a well-known writer and Callie is taking dance. While the girls are at Sea, a "Rogue Wave" hit the ship. One of the twins wakes up with a concussion and amnesia and the other is presumed to have been washed overboard. The twists and turns had me enthralled right from the beginning. I understand this is the last in the Web series….but what happens to Callie and Marnie in the future? I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Do you have any Grey Poupon?

Got this for free for an honest review. Again not my genre of books, but It was a very disappointing listen. The first part of the book was great! There's this mystery and confusion and a lot of questions. Then about 5 hours in you're hit with part 2 and think what the hell is going on. I understand the dates but what the heck was the point of giving us the time of the day? I really thought the times mattered, but not even once the time made any sense or difference in the plot. Also, the chapter numbers are glitching, I noticed around 3 hours in. A little spoiling ahead. These 2 sisters are the whiniest 23(21) year olds in the world. Their parents are pish posh, our darling daughters, we must be patient, and our private investigator this and that, and they must have had reasons and will surely explain. And the daughters are SO SO Sorry. Part one really got me into the story, but the rest is a story of 2 dumb blondes (I'm blonde, I can say it), one of which is so stupid that she didn't realize that there would be a head count on the ship, and her family would worry. I still do not buy the excuse it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission-you're 23 dummy! I wasted 14hrs, I wanted to stop by hour 6 when I saw this was going nowhere, but since it's free in exchange for my honest opinion I wanted to make sure I give it a fair shake. It turned into a silly story, with a romance ending. Sorry did not like this one bit.
