Includes bonus short story "Quick Killer and the Iceman"!

Since the collapse of civilization, the United States government has fought hard to hold together what little is left of the nation that once was. At their epicenter of power in Colorado Springs, those who hold the reins of government believe they are unassailable.

They have no idea how wrong they are.

From out of the wastelands, a new threat has risen to challenge the powers that be. The Storm Road Tribe has discovered a devastating new weapon, and they are more than ruthless enough to use it. In the midst of this crisis, Eric Riordan has come to Colorado Springs to welcome his second child into the world and expand his business interests. But soon after his arrival, the city is hit by a devastating attack, and he soon finds himself embroiled in the struggle to bring those responsible to justice. As the investigation progresses, Eric and his allies learn the truth about an emerging horror that threatens not only Colorado Springs, but the entire world....

Encore! Encore! Encore!

I have missed this series! A great story that just keeps evolving. James Cook deserves recognition as one of the best authors of the post-apocalypse and zombie genres!

Great book and narration, except for-------------

I've read & listened to all of the "Surviving The Dead" books by James N Cook and have enjoyed them all. I also like the narration except for one thing that drives me CRAZY!!! I'm Native American and I love the character of Lincoln Greyhawk, but why does the narrator insist on making him sound like he is developmentally handicapped??? I literally know hundreds of Indians, and not a single one of us speak like this. It's like he thinks it's an old 50's cowboy movie and Natives still just say "UG" to every query. It's borderline racist. If the character was black he wouldn't be talking like Uncle Remus from that old Disney movie. PLEASE change Greyhawks voice to something that is at least believable. I love the books, the author AND the narration, EXCEPT for that ridiculous voice. Thanks.

Getting a little repetitive

Still enjoying the series even if all the ninja type super hero’s are getting more and more unbelievable.

Still going strong.

This series hasn’t lost a bit of its mojo. I really look forward to the next installment, hopefully Ferguson and Maru are still in the next one, I think they could be a really cool stand alone adventure.
Also is Greyhawk really just Billy from Predator?

Finally!

Another great story to the series! Just sad I have to wait for next one! Awesome book James Cook! Guy Williams was good, I felt his Gabriel Garrett was a bit off from stories past, but that’s just me being overly critical. Thanks all!
