Warm, Funny, a Must Listen Book

You gotta admire an authoress who has such incredible gift with the written word. And written with such humor and love. And at age 84 no less.
I want to grow up and be like Peggy Rowe.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed all the little short stories that I would be chuckling driving down the road. Wonderful, positive listening.

This is a perfect book for our time, or any time, really. All of the funny and personal stories read to perfection by Mrs. Rowe will delight the listener, so much so that you won't want it to end. I highly recommend this book to everyone - it will lift your spirits!

A fun peek into some very interesting lives

After listening to this book, I can see where Mike gets his personable nature. The many anecdotes ranged from fun to hilarious, and Peggy knows how narrate like a pro. Her style reminded my of a (slightly) saucy Erma Bombeck, whose writing I also enjoy.

I loved this book, and I will spread the word. Everyone should read it. Even you.

Neighbors and white coats…

I sooo enjoyed listening to Peggy telling her stories! I’ve lol while driving to and from dr appointments, while waiting on an oil change, etc. This evening as I planted flowers on my porch I was brought to tears as she told the story of PC’s purple eggplant, in large part because I went through a nearly identical situation with my now departed hubby some 16 years ago. As I was laughing and crying, my neighbor came to the edge of his yard to ‘check on me.’ No doubt concerned I’d finally went over the edge. ;))) Thanks for sharing as well as the the memories! My mom would have adored you as she shared your witty dry humor.

PS I disposed of the used ice packs. lol

Fun collection of stories

I’ve read all her books, and loved them all. Her writings are light hearted and entertaining. The books transport the reader to simpler times; Peggy’s writing is a refreshing escape.
