Having grown up in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Rick now lives in the metropolitan city of Moscow, Russia. In his autobiography, he writes about:

Many people tell their stories putting their best foot forward and they gloss over their shortcomings. But Rick tells it like it is: the good, the bad, and the ugly. He tells of his successes in glowing God glorifying detail and then let's us know of his human frailty and shortcomings. I learned alot from Rick and his obedience to the Holy Spirit, sometimes a little slower than he would like to admit (but he did). I highly recommend this book. It left me with a desire to pursue God with all my heart and a knowledge that miracles are possible for all of us.
