Publisher's summary

December 5th, 2013 left its mark on the North Norfolk Coast in more ways than one. A tidal surge and storm swept millennia-old cliff faces into the sea and flooded homes and businesses up and down the coast. It also buried a secret in the WWII bunker hiding under the golf course at Brancaster. A secret kept for years, until it falls squarely into the lap of Detective Sergeant Kate Brannon and her fellow officers.

A skeleton, deep inside the bunker.

How did it get there? Who was he...or she? How did the stranger die - in a tragic accident or something more sinister? Well, that's Kate's job to find out.

Contains mature themes.

Murder in WWII bunker!

Story picks up shorty after Collide-O-Scope novel. Andrea Bramhall brings Detective Sergeant Kate investigate death in old WWII bunker. Murder of old man wearing mismatching clothes. Kate and her team try to figure out who is he, and especially why he died. Plus, we found how much Kate hates sand!

Gina and her daughter are back and dealing with bulling and PTSD. You can really feel their emotional trauma!

Bramhall writes up a intriguing murder, mixed with cover-up and government fraud.

Now, I waiting for "The Last First Time" Norfolk Coast Investigations Story, Book 3 be available in Audible soon!

Excellent.

I loved Under Parr. Kate and Gina make a great couple. The mystery is great. Really keeps you guessing. This book was published in 2017. Are we never going to know who sent the yellow roses? Henrietta Meire does an excellent job with the narration.

Great book

Andrea Bramhall does it again. She creates a story and characters that pull you in and when she ends the book with a path to a new story for these group of characters you have no choice accept to listen to the next one.

Great mystery novel!

Pros: Great engaging story! Nail biter throughout. Narrated well and well written.

Cons: After listening to two of the stories at this point, I can say with certainty the narrator needs to give more individual characters their own voice. Gina and Kate have the same tone and pitch. Being that Gina is younger, her tone should sound less middle age, she sounds like a pack a day diner worker.

Couldn't finish

Could never tell who was talking. Everyone sounded alike. So much talk about something that had happened before the book started.
