Stranded in the dark.

In the final throes of the generations-long war with the alien Felen, smuggler Jereth Keeven's junk freighter breaks down in a strange rift in deep space, with little chance of rescue—until they encounter a science vessel that claims to be from 152 years in the future. Engineer Uma Ozakka has always been fascinated with the past, especially the desperate peace mission that ended the war with the Felen and ushered in a new age of collaboration—a mission Keeven's first mate, Leesongronski, is supposed to be leading right now. If Ozakka is right, more than the fates of two ships hangs in the balance....

Have a glass of water please.

You know the sound of a dry mouth? It bothers me so much. I liked the story but every “p” “k” and “q” in this book made me want to stop listening.

Story Awesome! Performance 50%. Read the book.

The story is great. Excellent story in fact. Fantastic space opera that doesn’t involve a bunch of pew pew and military daring do’s saving the galaxy.

The performance was 50%. One of the narrators did a fantastic job and the other must be related to the publisher or something. Not so great. If it wasn’t for the story and the other narrator I would have returned it and bought the story to read instead.

Auspicious first novel

While the story was somewhat predictable given what’s given away, there was sufficient richness and depth to make the journey interesting. One of the voice actors, Ayesha, was quite good, but Alex needs to improve his delivery. Looking forward to the next book from the author.

Tropey and not in. A good way

And uninspired, basic trope filled story of a loop in time… Filled with flat characters in too much detail about meaningless parts in the past. It could’ve been a two page short story.
