Publisher's summary

Book four in New York Times best-selling author Dianna Love’s new series in the Belador world continues with explosive changes.

In TÅμr Medb’s library, Casidhe discovers she doesn’t know Daegan at all. While Daegan battles to survive a satyr attack, a preternatural being offers him a chance to live, but at a price only a dying man would take. Reese is blindsided by the one person she thought she could depend upon at her worst moment.

Atlanta is overrun by demons being created by an unknown supernatural with a hidden agenda, and Daegan’s time to save three Beladors facing execution by a VIPER Tribunal runs out.

With hours left to prevent the execution of three Beladors locked beneath VIPER headquarters, Daegan and Quinn race a clock no one can stop ticking.

Truncated story lines to keep books short

The story lines are barely being spelled out or given enough information or attention before jumping to the next one in order to keep the books short.

Love the overall story but there is so much going on which doesn't get the attention it deserves before the book abruptly stops and the reader has to wait for the next book.

Good

I was so excited when this book came out. I love this series. Daegan and Casidhe have emerged from the place where the found the grimoire and scepter high on a mountain in a different country. Daegan and his dragon are captured by some crazy humans looking to kill his dragon. Unfortunately, this leaves Casidhe on her own and unprotected. She is captured and brought to queen Mave. The queen tells Casidhe that no one will rescue her. She is told that the dragon knows that she is there but he will not come for her. Wile Daegan is trying to save his people, Casidhe is forced to find a grimoire for the queen or be killed. I did not like the end of this book. It was verry open ended. I can’t wait for the next book.

I can never get enough

I feel like my reviews for Dianna Love are always in the same tone. I really can’t get enough of her stories and characters. At the end of each book I’m always upset it’s over because I WANT MORE!!!
