Publisher's summary

This book was written from an American perspective. The author believes that the Philippines, as a country, is an island paradise that has been tarnished by several deadly Islamic terrorist groups and organized-crime syndicates. This book provides you with reliable and up-to-date information on places in the Philippines that are deadly to foreign visitors where a great number of them have been kidnapped, brutally beaten, and killed. The author believes that you should be a well-informed traveler for your own safety and security in the Philippines. On the one hand, the book lists some of the safest tourist spots where you can enjoy your stay and have memorable moments; on the other hand, it alerts you of the illegal organ trade, which constitutes a grave danger to foreign visitors. You will learn, among other things:

  • Why kidnapping for ransom is such a lucrative business in the Philippines
  • What you should know about deadly deeds of some taxi drivers in the Philippines
  • Some places that should be classified "off-limits" to foreign visitors and why the travel industry keeps quiet about it
  • How to avoid being car jacked in the Philippines
  • And much more.

Additionally, the author lets you in on some secrets and techniques you will not find or read anywhere else, which makes this book unique and authentic. If you set your eye on a Filipino woman or women, before your relationship gets serious you should be fully aware of the following factors that really matter in your relationship with your Filipino woman, such as the "Age Factor", the "Many Babies Factor", the "Pregnancy factor", and the "Pawn shop Factor". Many foreign nationals have made some regrettable and irreparable mistakes in marrying Filipino women just to realize afterward that they should have known these factors before tying the knot. Why should you make the same mistake? This book can help prevent these unwanted and dreadful mistakes.

The book also teaches you "how to make a woman agree with you nearly all the time", "how to detect con artists who pose as legitimate Filipino female pen pals", "how to connect with and seduce a Filipino woman successfully online and in person", and among others, "how to outsmart online Filipino female con artists".

The author presents a specific list of places which are a breeding ground for kidnapping; therefore, he strongly recommends that these areas in the Philippines should be off-limits to foreigners. The warnings that he has listed in this book are not intended to deter the listener from traveling to the Philippines; on the contrary, he encourages them to visit with their loved-ones and friends, provided that they get relevant, unbiased, and truthful information about places to stay away from. He feels an obligation, as a foreign national himself, to share with them some hard and plain truths that they need to know before they travel to the Philippines, so they can enjoy their stay with confidence and peace of mind. If this book has contributed in helping to save a life from the terrorists and bandits, then that would be, as he put it, his utmost satisfaction.

Good & Bad

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Perhaps

What was most disappointing about Colbert Bellevue’s story?

It had almost word for word what it has on the government website of embassy warnings. Even now they have the same warnings there.

Any additional comments?

There was like entire sections that were repeated over and over again. Sometimes just in different ways of saying the same thing. Other things were repeated.

worthless book

This is nothing more than fear mongering and slapped together from headlines. No real research. I could write a better book than this.
