Publisher's summary

"Thug Passion Marks" is one of the best African American Urban Fiction books out. And now it’s available here just for you reading pleasure. In this classy romance you’ll take an unforgettable ride with the national bestselling author Cachet. Her writing is very clever and her characters are funny and unforgettable.

**Warning** This is not your typical Urban romance, dope boy, thug love, or kingpin savage book. Heart pounding. Nail biting. Women's Fiction. Street literature. Romance.

I’m sorry y’all. Honestly I am. It’s just that I can’t help that I’m a sucker for a well fit man that’s covered in tattoos. Never in a million years would I have ever thought that I would fall in love with a thug. While I was raised as a kingpin’s daughter, I’m sure my mother and father envisioned that I’d fall in love and marry an educated, suit wearing brother that makes six figures or better, yet, here I am, head over heels with a thugged out bad boy that was feared by many. Being a thug’s girl is not the life that either of my parents wanted for me. Hell, it’s not what I wanted for myself, but it is what it is. It’s crazy how things happen. All I remember is a crash. I was sitting on my porch with my best friend when a figure sprinted our way. His tall frame, wild hair and captivating eyes told me that he needed help.

Somewhere to hid out until the coast the clear. Without thinking I offered him my apartment. Why, I’m not sure, but I did and that’s how it all began. It’s been said that a single moment can change the entire trajectory of your entire life. Looking back, I never could have imagined just how much mine would have changed just by making that one decision. Will I finally get the happiness that I’m looking for, or will falling for a thug be my downfall?

Good book!

The storyline is a good storyline. The only con is the robot. The phrase were off.

Great story, weird narration

I enjoy the storyline , but the virtual narrator throws me off at times. Sometimes it sounds normal and sometimes it’s very robotic

Good

Part 2 please! I enjoyed the storyline from the beginning. There’s plenty of drama and action to listen to. I hate the virtual voice! Hire a real narrator already!!!

Virtual Voice

The story was a good story. I really enjoyed it. I hope there's a part two in the works and that it will be available on Audible. The virtual voice threw the book off badly. In some parts it was okay but the robotic pronunciation of slang words was annoying. It's also devoid of human emotion so it's not expressing what emotion the author is trying to convey. I needed the human touch on this one.

Interesting

1st I want to state that time for the audio book is way off it says 6 hours but when you start the book it's only 3 hours. 2nd just when the book was getting good its over like the author didn't finish the story but still published it. there is nothing that states there is more to come so overall its a little disappointing.
