Publisher's summary

A well-to-do Young Man, reading the Holy Book of One about the fall of the first man and first woman, asks the age-old question: Why is there so much suffering in the world? Looking out the window at the market place below, Young Man witnesses a commotion involving a shabbily dressed Old Man whose behavior is puzzling. His curiosity piqued, Young Man goes to follow Old Man to investigate. What ensues is a day filled with stories that Old Man weaves together to answer Young Man's perennial question. At the end of the day, Young Man's life is transformed.

Heading home, Young Man vows to spread the wisdom of Old Man to everyone in the Land. However, the next morning, Young Man wakes up to a real surprise!

A heartwarming lesson in spirituality

This book is a wonderful parable of a relationship of an old man setting a young man on the path to a relationship with ONE. This is the type of story that I’ll read over and over again to gain an even better understanding of how to navigate my own relationship with ONE and ensure that I don’t see twisted limbs, but the beauty that the world has to offer.

I recommend this book to anyone who is on a spiritual journey and would like a bit of direction or inspiration to stay focused. I’m todays world, the number of distractions are infinite and we need to work on our relationship with ONE.
