Publisher's summary

The Yalu River Boys is the true story of the forgotten men from the forgotten war. Follow a B-29 bomber crew as it battles Russian MiG-15 fighters in the heart of MiG Alley during the Korean War. Learn the heartbreaking truth of the communist prison camp gulags, the cruelty of the North Korean enemy, and the propaganda attacks from friend and foe. Marvin King joined the US Air Force in peacetime but soon found himself in the midst of jet-age aerial combat, captured and taken into China, and later subjected to the abject horror of a place in North Korea known only as The Caves.

Excellent

This is such an incredible book! The story really comes alive. This war and the heartbreaking stories of what these people had to go through is not talked about enough and this book truly honors all the lives that where affected. Dan King obviously spent a lot of time putting this together and did an extraordinary job👍
Very good narration as well!

thank you

I went to high school with the author, and knew and loved his parents, Gene and Ginny. However, until now have not heard Gene's POW experience.

The words here, written and spoken, powerfully convey the faith and commitment to each other, their God and their country as Gene and his fellow POW's determined to endure and to survive. It's because of men like Gene that citizens of our great can enjoy the freedoms we all have today.

Thanks to this book now everyone will get the chance to understand the real sacrifices that our POWs, and those still MIA, made while serving their country.

Yalu River Boys Hits the Mark!

Well researched and presented.

Listening to the audiobook was riveting and provided a “site picture” of what these great patriots endured serving our Nation during the Korean War.

A must read for our military service men and women; teen forcing the importance of learning our Code of Conduct.

Well done, and Highly Recommended!
