Publisher's summary

I always wanted a nice, normal boyfriend. The kind you could bring home to your parents. Instead, I fell for Austin Wright.

We tried this once and failed. Hard.

I swore the bad-boy Wright who set my body on fire would never get a second chance, because our love is heroin-laced-gasoline-addicting and destined to go up in flames.

kinda disappointing, waiting for book 4

Book 3 wasn't nearly as good as the first two but I enjoyed it. Now when are we going to get to find out all about Morgan and Patrick, surely they can't be oblivious to their off the charts magnetic sexual kismet forever!

Narration issues

Lucy did fine, but Alexander...SMH. Why do all the women sound like Granny Clampett when you narrate them? Why does Julia have a horrid southern accent when she is from OHIO??? I could listen to Alexander speak male parts all day, but I'd prefer him in duet style from now on. Kids and women are NOT his forte.

Friends yield when love is growing amongst them

Group of friends have their lives grow into families of their own. These life changes stir in the hearts around them. Fooling around entanglements transforms in the light of the love that is near them.

love the Wright Brothers

I love the series and love the author! with being said I had a really hard time getting through this audiobook. the narrator's are probably great in other books but not this one. they were horrible speaking for the opposite sex in this book. they made it sound cheesy and were overly dramatic.

The male narration…

Ok, I’m loving this series and the Wright family but with the male narration of female voices, that was a super tough listen! Plus, I’m from Texas and the whole forced “county accent” was too much. Definitely not my favorite listen in the series.

Narrators were awful

The story itself was fine, but my goodness - I don’t think they could’ve found worse narrators! The male narrator’s interpretation of the female voices was cringy and so distracting, and the female’s interpretation of the male voices was like Eeyore! Painful, painful, painful. I love the Wright family so this was extremely disappointing as I couldn’t enjoy Austin’s story at all. Do yourself a favor and do NOT Audible this one - try the print version. Maybe you’ll have a better experience.

Great story overall.

Ok so I actually adored this story line I knew Austin's story was going to be worth the listen and it was. The male narrator's girl voice absolutely sucked I mean it almost ruined the book for me. Good thing the story made up for it. Glad I don't have to listen to him in the next book.

Horrible narration

The author needs to consider re-recording the male portion of this book. Alexander Cendese did a horrendous job reading his portion of the story, and acting out the characters. The male characters sounded like dumb hicks, and the females sounded like whiny, dying cats. Even though it was cringeworthy and difficult to listen to his narration, I managed to finish the story. Yay, me.

Male Voice

I didn’t think the male voice fit the personality of Austin, the female voice was better. The story was good though.

Terrible narrative

This is the third book I read in the series and worst by far. The narrators were terrible. I thought story line was slow, boring, and predictable. Hope book 4 is a lot better
