But when Bad Buffalo meets Dia the fairy, she begs for his help. Intergalactic parasites have returned to raid the planet and suck the Earth dry of its magic. And when the magic is gone, the Earth will stop turning on its axis.

So, have gun will travel—through space and time. Can this unlikely pair save the Earth from utter destruction?

What Readers are saying:

★★★★★ “I loved this story! Fun and original, an excellent work from two remarkable authors. Humorous, light reading with a pinch of naughty.” —Amazon review

★★★★★ “Come witness a highly entertaining, word-slinging duel between masterful storytellers J.R. Rain and Piers Anthony. You can literally see them writing their characters into crazy predicaments and handing the reins of the story to the other; while also weaving a solid, and hysterical adventure. Who wins? We the readers do, of course! (I bet the authors had a blast too.)” —Amazon review

★★★★★ “J.R. Rain and Piers Anthony make a pretty good team on this one. I honestly have not read a western in a while, but I did enjoy this unusual adventure about saving Earth’s magic. Outlaw Bad Buffalo is not your typical hero, but a hero nonetheless, after he teams up with a feisty sprite. It was a fast read that had me laughing several times. I thoroughly enjoyed it.” —Amazon review

★★★★★ “A funny adventue. Outlaw Bad Buffalo and a blueberry blonde pixie are on an adventure that you will enjoy. It will make you laugh and you will be sorry when you reach the end of the book.” —Amazon review

★★★★★ “I was fortunate enough to receive this book as an ARC. It did make me laugh. Genre mashup at it’s best! I always enjoy the books that they write together. Keep ‘em coming!” —Amazon review

★★★★★ “A perfect formula: Meanest, baddest, cruelest and smelliest outlaw Bad Buffalo + blueberry blonde sprite Dia = a hilariously outrageous adventure.” —Amazon review

Great Story, Narration not too bad!

I haven't noticed any comments about Virtual Voice so want to say a few words.

First, I loved the story. It's so ridiculous it has a certain charm. It is definitely a world of fantasy. Everybody wins in the end - Just how it should be.

I avoided 'Virtual Voice'. They have improved but most are still not very natural. This voice is better.

There are still weird inflections where the tone doesn't match the context. It was better than 50%. Maybe 60. It was not irritating and I could mostly ignore it. It also had less really bad ones.

The cadence was not bad, mostly being affected by the inflections. It was all a little flat.

With that; the voice is unique and was able to entertain me. I expect they will improve with time and our acceptance.

I am not a fan of Virtual Voice but I am slightly more inclined to give it a chance.

Thanks for giving me a free chance to decide.
