Filled with a sense of adventure and national pride, they left their parents' homes wearing their best clothes and confidently waving good-bye. What a wonderful work for those of us who have lived after these “staggering” events!
I am so grateful for the true history from the inside of Nazi Germany from a child’s perspective and so much more!
This book is a jewel for those of us who have been bewildered by the thought of a people actually “going down that road” with a “madman” and his “henchmen”. Thank you Philipp again your family will always be endeared to my heart.
