Publisher's summary

The Bible teaches us that Jesus Christ is the true center of our salvation. Through a deep and compelling examination of Scripture, the author demonstrates that without Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, we would be lost. However, because of his death and resurrection, we now have the promise of eternal life in heaven with him. This book also reminds us that since Christ first loved us in this way, it is now our joy to take up our own cross daily and follow him.

Great overview of the Theology of the Cross injected with personal/pastoral wisdom.

I’m a rookie in my comprehension of Luther and some of the core tenants of the Lutheran faith but found this to be just right in terms of depth. It was easy to understand and I appreciated the time spent on application into our lives.

Mr. Deutschlander is no professional narrator but I much prefer the author narrate, regardless of skill, especially because they tend to convey the necessary emotion and emphasis when needed. This scenario was no different.

Thank you, Daniel, for choosing to narrate this book and thank you for furthering my understanding of such a wonderful concept.
