Publisher's summary

A compilation of rare works on the untold history and destiny of America by acclaimed occult writer Manly P. Hall.

Writer and scholar Manly P. Hall (1901-1990) is one of the most significant names in the study of the esoteric, symbolic, and occult. His legendary book The Secret Teachings of All Ages has been an underground classic since its publication in 1928. The Secret History of America expands on that legacy, offering a collection of Hall’s works - from books and journals to transcriptions of his lectures - all relating to the hidden past and unfolding future of our nation.

Hall believed that America was gifted with a unique purpose to explore and share principles of personal freedom, self-governance, and independent thought. PEN Award-winning historian Mitch Horowitz has curated a powerful collection of Hall’s most influential and insightful works that capture and explore these ideas. Never before collected in one audiobook, the material in The Secret History of America explores the rich destiny, unseen history, and hidden meaning of America.

Another great MPH read

I fond of all MPH reads. This one is no different. It's continous wisdom being both given and myths dispelled is always thrilling. I highly recommend.

MPH, a master at communicating esoteric knowledge

Whether it be from indigenous cultures inhabiting the Americas before the arrival of Europeans or the ancient Brahmins and Buddhists, Manly P Hall covers it all. Just a glance at the chapter titles let you know he speaks of the founding of the US as a home in the West for the New Atlantis. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Francis Bacon and Ralph Waldo Emerson are just a few of the amazing personalities Hall speaks of in this collection of writings by this great American author speaker and personality.

The narration of this beautiful work only adds to the brilliance of Halls words.

Outstanding!

The amazing history of the Americas that I never got in school. I'm sad that we decimated the indigenous cultures.

Perhaps not an introductory text

Truly fascinating, broad & varied subject matter, but perhaps more academic than would be most approachable to the average layman. However, still a most informative & thought provoking read, expertly written & performed. I am certainly inspired to seek out more of Manly P Hall's teachings

Interesting history.

Parts of this book were meandering, especially when discussing the Indian tribes in the Northeast. Worth the listen though for sure. The chapter on Albert Pike was very revealing. As a Christian I have researched Puke and find him to be a Luciferian of high order. The book does not dispute this. I am ok with the Luciferian influence in society as long as there is a small level playing field where average people are exposed to both views and are welcome to choose for themselves. I promise not to hit you over the head with a Bible if you promise not to send me to a re-education camp.🙂

Brilliant Revelation

This book was an absolutely wonderful overview of the future of America from the perspective of an informed past. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to dive deeper into the true history of America. Manly P. Hall is an absolutely brilliant author and one of the most intelligent minds I’ve ever had the opportunity of exploring.

Great !

exactly what you would expect from Hall. However, secret teachings of all ages is a barn burner compared to this .

Highly Valuable Information

Well written, informative and highly enjoyable to listen to. The narrator does a great service - with his reading style - that most clearly relays a fine work by Manly Palmer Hall.

Will revisit again soon!
