Death by narration.
As one unfamiliar with Pancake until coming across this offering, I can only say that I believe there is an interesting story to be heard though not from this horrendous presentation. I found it necessary to slow the audio down substantially just in order to determine where one sentence ended and another began but could still not stomach the assault on my ears. I'll definitely look for another means of furthering my knowledge on Pancake while avoiding any future recordings with Paige McKinney's annoying cadence.

Pancake's work calls for a narrator of more serious tone
The bright, giddy-up cadence and chirpy, girlish delivery made this difficult to listen to. Egads, it's just wrong to channel Pancake through a Disney princess.
