Heaven may not be what you think it is. We often think of heaven in two extremes: It's either a dreamy existence where we float around on clouds with nothing much to do, or it's something far off in the future that we don't want to happen until we accomplish all that we want to in this life. Both of these are flat wrong, and Tony Evans looks to scripture to set the record straight. Simple and straight forward, Eternity is a short book on what eternity with God will really be like.

Thoroughly Intrigued
The author Dr. Tony Evans puts things into context and makes the Names of Jesus easy to understand. I will listen to this over and over again. And tell others they should as well. Thank you.

Beautifully explained
Intriguing in depth analysis of the many names of Jesus throughout the entire Bible. Loved how the author listed Jesus' names, titles, and roles/relationships from each book of the Bible.

A Great Dive Into Words Often Skimmed and Misinterpreted
After reading Tony Evans’ book, The Power of God’s Names, I had to follow it with this one. And it did not disappoint. In fact, there were dozens of names that we skim over in Scripture, but, when examined more closely, mean much more than we think. While the chapters are divided into two sections - Power in His Positions and Power in His Persons - the life of Jesus is examined so that we see His magnificence, how He is, has been, and will be (for all time) God the Son. I’m sure I’ll read this book many times to be sure I’m looking to Christ correctly!
JD Jackson did a wonderful job narrating this book, and I look forward to hearing his voice again!
