It’s not a bad story, great because it was a free listen. There are a couple twists at the end.

An insult to logic
This was so bad. I try to finish all my books and have done so in about 90% of the times. This one, though, stretched my resolve.
It’s so illogical with a plot line that would only work if the characters were babies incapable of basic acts of self-preservation. Without giving too much away, there’s a hospital scene that would seems designed to make you cringe. No one - ABSOLUTELY NO ONE - with any desire to protect their welfare would act in a manner that any of these characters did.
The characters are paper thin. The plot line an inconvenience that the author sometimes forgets about completely and the reader is asked to completely forgo reason and sense in order for it to work.
Waste of my time frankly.

Couldn't wait for the end
This book was oversimplified in some areas and should have been developed more in others. The main character was so simple it made me want to stop listening at times. I am just happy it's over.

Wow, never saw it coming
Really great book with a twisted plot you’ll never see coming. When you think it’s one thing, it twists to something completely different. I highly recommend it!

What A Twist
If you feel like you're being gaslit by this story, it's because you are. This story did such a great job of making you question what you just heard, so many times I wanted to punch the characters in the face! very well executed.
