Publisher's summary

If you want to discover the captivating history of the Mexican Revolution, then keep reading...

The Mexican Revolution was a defining moment of the 20th century. The Mexican fight for democracy, equality, and justice sent shockwaves around the world. No other episode in its history has left a deeper mark. It is a three-act drama full of politics, persecution, and war, not to mention earthquakes, signs in the sky, and even spiritualist sessions, while being populated by larger-than-life villains, international spies, and the universally known figures of Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata. In fact, our modern idea of “revolution” owes much to what happened in this country between 1910 and 1920.

In The Mexican Revolution: A Captivating Guide to the Mexican Civil War and How Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata Impacted Mexico, you will discover topics such as:

Interesting but very short

Doesn't sound like much is changed in Mexico in the last hundred years. Instead of revolutionaries, it's a drug cartel killing people off. And we still have thousands pouring across the border.

See Them All

A must for any library of The Revolution, large or small. Seeing these photographs helps to sort out the intertwining labyrinthine series of events of that tumultuous era.

This definitely filled the gaps for me

I was going through another book of the entire history of Mexico. The topic of the revolution could not be covered in such great detail. I'm sure this title left out quite a bit it it filled in many gaps. I'll try a more exhaustive book later.

The reader could've made a little effort in pronouncing the names. It was massacre lol.

Good novel

Interesting perspective on revolution from a man who witnessed it as a medic. Good novel if you are curious about Mexico and its history. Sparks curiosity.

A never ending revolution.

More than interesting the narrative about the Mexican revolution which become a good source for a better understanding of the political, economic, and social events that influenced in some way what we see nowadays in this country. There are roots of abuse, corruption, violence, and betrayal among those people thirsty for power.

The fate of revolutionaries

This is by far the best audible on the 1910 Mexican revolution. It is very well written (in translation) and the characters are very well defined. I believe that this audible is well worth listening to.

Great

As a descendant of Mexican fighters of 1914 this book corroborates stories from relatives whom participated in the struggle.
