Phenomenal
I have loved elephants since I can remember. This book was recommended to me and I’m so thankful. It’s extremely well written and the narration is top notch. It was extremely easy to lose myself in the story. I felt like I was there on the African plains among the heard. I felt the highs and lows of every interaction, human and animal.

Very emotional
A heart full adventure of an elephant name Eishe. You feel as though you have found a friend that you love and want to be with every moment. It displays the side of Good vs Evilness in life. Overall sad at times but a great story of the life of what elephants go though. A great insight to what we humans put these animals though. Love the book.

With an elephant's voice...
A remarkable, beautifully written story told also by the elephant's themselves. Compelling how the real science has been incredibly woven into the story about these magnificent animals. Loved this book....a classic!
