The term “hermetic” can mean “pertaining to alchemy and magic”. About 40 books are ascribed to Hermes Trismegistus. These books were written between about 200 BC and 200 AD and deal with alchemy, astrology, and philosophy.

A long gap of silence
There is a glitch or a mistake. If it’s not a glitch with the app somebody should be ashamed that they let this get posted. The talk ends and then there is approximately 15 mins of silence and then the talk starts over again briefly before ending abruptly.
