Great story!
Quite a lot of history in it. Also like that customs of the day were written in a way that makes you understand the Chinese culture better.

Fantastic, as always
Loved everything about this book. Loved the cultural and historical context, masterful weaving of the story, gentle , but unavoidable pull into the story, the dialog, complex and very real characters. Love, love, love.... Will look for another book by this author, but will give myself some time in between- to extend the wait for the delicious treat.
