Love the Irish Tales
I read reviews before I bought the book. I agree with most of them. it was a good story tho I found myself tiring a little of hearing Alice. But it was entertaining and the best part was the narration. What a gift she has. Makes the story come alive and I never get tired of the Irish likt. It did end too abruptly though.

Great Listen

I could not stop listening
I loved every moment of the narrative from the sad life lessons to the funny adventures that made me laugh out loud. Thank you Sandy Taylor and narrator Evelyn Dillon for making my heart sing.

Jean Grainger Fans
This is so like the books of Jean Grainger and her fantastic Irish tales, especially given the narrator does many of Jean’s books. Evelyn Dillon is a master narrator. She makes a good book into a great one. I do love this story unto itself. I don't want it to be over.

Bummer of an ending
A precious story- you really grow to love Rose Brown. But there was wayyyyy too much worship and talk of Alice! I got sick of hearing about her. And the ending was a real let down.
