When the bully jaiger stabbed Marcus and everybody just started going against jaiger it was the most exciting part!🤩🤩

Another great Gordon Korman book

My son and I listen to these books together in the car and always love Gordon Korman stories. The Fort was a great story but what was especially impactful was the real world complications in families. The dynamics between the kids in the story in relation to what they have going on at home really made this story. Plus it brings awareness to these situations to kid listeners that may not be aware of complex issues in families.

I love MG mysteries with families and I couldn't wait to read THE FORT. I guessed it was an adventure. As usual Gordon Korman's characters and plot surprised me with its unpredictably. He is adept at multiple POV voices. All the characters are relatable and they develop slowly as conflicts build in this imaginative, contemporary story of 5 boys who find a secret hideaway in the woods near their homes. Each boy (+ 1 girlfriend) has issues with family that readers of all ages can understand and grow to like.

Very enjoyable listen.

A lot of characters but not overwhelming. Easy to keep up with and really fun to listen to. Highly recommend.

Stunning

I love everything about this book. It brings to mind issues you’d rather not think about, all while weaving a riveting story which I finished far faster than I wanted to. You truly get to empathize with the characters, and also feel the excitement of having a fort like no other. My only wish is there was more character development it mitchel, but otherwise I very much recommend.
