Publisher's summary

The realm of Andomhaim has been reunited, with a true High King ruling in Tarlion once more.

But it is far too late.

The host of the Frostborn marches to war, bringing terror and death in their wake, and a weakened Andomhaim is not strong enough to defeat them.

Only the sword of the Dragon Knight has the power to drive back the Frostborn, and it is calling to Ridmark Arban.

But the sword devours anyone bold enough to wield it….

Fabulous!

If you like fantasy, this one is for you. Jonathan has a way with words and a talent to keep it interesting!
Speaking of talent, Brad Wills could read a phone book and keep me wanting more. He is amazing because he can do every character and you know exactly who is talking.

ridmark is exhausting (spoilers)

I really like this series but I can't be the only one tired of ridmark constantly wanting to kill himself. every book after Morignas death the later half of the book he moves past it and is fine. then the next book he's back to wanting it die again. he even tells her spirit he moved on and he's happy now with caliand (I don't know how to spell these peoples names). but just five minutes later his mom tells him to kill himself and everyone is happy and he is like " OK makes sense to me" it's getting old and am finding hard to continue with the story.

A great story is the only reason I'm still here

I'm so over main characters wallowing in self-recriminations chapter after chapter. They go from super awesome to whine, whine, whine, come to my pity party of one. 🙄 I must've ff through 2 hours cumulatively. How does this move the story forward?!?! We get it. We got it after book 2. Now that I'm on book 14, I want to stick a pencil in my eye! And please, please, please stop repeating lines to extend the word count. Like, VERBATIM! And using, "he/she/so&so said" after every line of dialog is such a cheat. JM does this in every book I've listened to. I love the stories, but the writing sometimes irritates me so much.

Regarding Brad (narrator),I can hear the smile in your voice and it's creepy af. And the whisper when you say, "he/she/whomever said," grinds on my nerves. It too gives me the heeby-jeebies. Please stop.
