Publisher's summary

The Marquess of Southey requires a bride. A bevy of eligible young ladies gather at his country estate for a house party and, if they can capture his heart, a proposal of marriage. Miss Abigail Grey must chaperone her beautiful, willful stepsister at this marriage mart in miniature. Her reluctance increases tenfold when she recognizes the Marquess as Captain Rudyard Nowick, the poor soldier she refused to marry seven years before.

I wish there's an epilogue

I'm surprised that this book has a low rating.
It's a sweet story. I agree that if Abigail was more forthcoming, they wouldn't have suffered, but then there's no story at all - or it would have been a one chapter story.
I like Rudyard's perseverance, and I like Abigail's loyalty.
I don't have any problems with VIrtual Voice narration, I set the speed to 1.8x.
