Publisher's summary

Warning: The Dex-Files contains harsh language and graphic sexual scenes suitable for listeners 18 years of age and older. It also contains numerous spoilers for the Experiment in Terror Series and is recommended to those who have read books all the novels in the series (including Old Blood)

The truth is out there....

The Dex-Files is a compilation novel that accompanies the Experiment in Terror Series. In the Dex-Files we find a variety of scenes and chapters from the enigmatic Dex Foray's POV from books one - six in the series. Some of these scenes have been previously published, albeit from Perry's POV, while other scenes are completely new.

Dex's mind is a frightening place...I hope you enjoy the ride.

Best audiobook ever

Scott did a great job bringing Declan Foray to life in this book. The audio effects were excellently executed making it even more “Dex” like. This is my favorite novella to date because it allows the reader access to the complicated mind and musings that are sometimes shadowed in the novels due to the action packed storylines and his general witty and sarcastic personality. Amazing job on this one, I only hate it was over so fast.

meh

Absolutely love the story!! The narrator has a great voice! But the music and sound effects are way to much. So much so that I couldn't even get through the prologue. The background stuff would drown out the narrator and was just overall cheesy and distracting. I skipped a lot and ended up having to follow along with the book and ultimately just turned off the audio and finished reading. I don't listen to very many audio books but the ones I have heard don't have music and sound effects so this threw me off big time!
