Outstanding take on fantasy adventure

The relatability of the characters was a great start to the book that hooked me into what was happening next. While suspenseful it was entertaining with a great integration of fantasy storyline that had depth through the character’s development through the book.

Very Imaginative

The relationship between Nico and Sofia drew me right in to the characters. Both were very likable and the relationship between them reminded me of one great friends. The plot was fantastical, exciting, and I loved the atmosphere the author created. I would very much like to read a sequel because I think Nico and Sofia could definitely deliver more stories of mystery and magic. What a great new voice!
