When a bigger picture begins to unfold around them, they must each decide how to do the right thing in a shadowy world where simply maintaining the status quo feels like an accomplishment. Kinda Dull

Honestly, if this was not an audiobookI would not have finished this book. It needed more connection between the characters. The characters themselves were dull. Also, at times, it was hard to tell which character was talking as the narrator did not change their voice enough to make it distinguishable from one female character to another.

this is interesting world building of a future dystopia but little actually happens. it's like a long introduction to the revolution but the revolution never happens, just hinted at.
