Would love to see this as a movie

Since they are creating so many African American basic movies this would be a great selection with a new twist, something different and interesting

Just didn't pull me in

This audiobook was just meh. Reader wasn't great & the story was dull. The story and the reader were bland. I didn't hate it, I just wish I hadn't wasted my money on such a nothing production.

Ending was meh

I do love the mystical setting of Savannah, GA. Like others, I just didn't like the ending. If the author ever develops this into full length novel, I'd add it to my TBR list.

The story was great. I loved the narration. I will be looking up other books done by the author and the narrator.

entertaining enough

I agree with another reviewer; the story started slow, but was entertaining enough. I listen to audiobooks while walking the dogs or doing stationary exercise so it kept my attention away from the exercises.
