A Family Hell Bent on Hate and Murder

This is the story of the Gustafson family who, after the imprisonment of Doug Gustafson for the highway shooting of Jeffrey Cain, was still hell bent on retribution for the person who testified in the case and led to his conviction. From the jailhouse, Doug Gustafson and fellow inmate, Raymond D. Cheely Jr, also serving time for the murder, and Gustafson's brother and sister on the outside conspired to kill George Kerr, who was with them on the night of the murder and testified against them, leading to their convictions. A pregnant Peggy Gustafson Barnett, 29, and her brother, Craig Gustafson worked together to build a bomb, with Peggy actually taking it to the post office. It was delivered to the Kerr home, but George Kerr wasn't home. His father opened it, killing him immediately and his wife sustained life threatening injuries, changing her life forever. This short listen details the events of the original crime and the revenge and planned attack on George Kerr, including the coded communications between Doug Gustafson and his sister. It's a sad and sick tale of what can happen when people allow revenge and anger to rule their lives.

Good story

This story was well told, detailed, and the voice was perfect! I was not aware of this story before listening. Definitely was given a well written review of what happened all within an hour. I would suggest this book to others
