Publisher's summary

Alison James thinks she might be living the wrong life. She loves her husband Marc and their children but somehow, in the process of building a perfect life for her family, she seems to have lost herself. And sometimes she worries that she's being punished for running away with her best friend's boyfriend.

Catherine Ashley knows she's living the wrong life. She adores her two daughters, but all too often her mind still flicks back to the love of her life: Marc. Alison and Catherine have been living separate lives, a hundred miles apart, for fifteen years. But now Alison's moving back to Farmington, the town where they both grew up. And they're about to find out just how different both their lives could still be...

Good Story!

BFF's that get separated by love's immaturity in their teens. They meet up again many years later, both unhappy with their lives and distrusting of each other. They come to terms with what they have both done individually. They determine if they can regain the lost trust and become mature friends by peeling away and examining their past and see if they can finally move on to grow into fulfilled adulthood with each other as supporting friends again.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Completely and absolutely loved this book! I enjoyed every part of it and did not want it to end!

I need more from this writer. Audible you need to get The Accidental Mother too. I tried to get this one on this web site and could not. Hope I don’t need to go somewhere else!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Accidental Wife?

The girls drinking outside Sam's flat

Good book, Great Preformance

Any additional comments?

This was a great story about how one bad decision can affect you for the rest of your life.
It was light-hearted and easy to follow while I was working.
I enjoyed the story but REALLY enjoyed the narrator's chipper voice and it made the book even better for me.

Great Book, Great Performance

Another book in the normal "genre" I like to listen to, and exactly what I was after. A light-hearted story that kept my attention throughout. I picked this audiobook because it was narrated by Jilly Bond, and was not disappointed. I've already listened to it again.

a forgettable read, but ok for a credit

I listened to this book a couple of weeks ago, and i'm having difficulty remembering much about it for purposes of this review. So, an average UK chic lit read, ok for a credit.
