Publisher's summary

To make ends meet, Stacy decides to develop her special…powers. Everyone can use a touch of magic now and then, right? Soon she’s got clients lining up to receive her signature potions - until a few of them go awry.

Meanwhile, her own life has just taken a storybook turn: Leo North, the official 'One Who Got Away,' is back in town. Stacy’s best friends, Peach and Liv are more concerned about the state of her heart than the side effects of a few rogue magic spells. But someone with dark intentions is crossing magical wires all over Nodaway Falls, and those closest to Stacy are at risk.

Can Stacy conjure up a way out of this mess with her life - and maybe even her love life - intact?

Even better than the first

The first book by Lucy March, "A Little Night Magic", was entertaining and I really enjoyed it, but it never reached the point where I was looking for excuses to keep listening. This second book in the Nodaway Falls series exceeds the first in every respect: character development, relationships, excitement and humor. The narration was spot on. If you're a fan of Amanda Ronconi you won't be disappointed. This is arguably her best performance of the books I've listened to.

Cute

Amanda Ronconi does a wonderful job with any story. I only listened to this book because she was the narrator. This story is sweet and predictable, but fun none the less. I feel the same about the first in this series.

I liked the one prior to this one a little more, this one wasn't as suspenseful

Fun, Light, Magic

I like this story. I was glad to see more of Nodaway Falls and its characters. I would gladly listen to more.

*Disclaimer- this is narrated by Amanda Ronconi- my favorite narrator EVER

Fun

This book follows, A Little Night of Magic. The former main character is in the story but the main character focus is now on Stacy, one of Liv's 3 closest friends from the first book. It's just a funny, interesting and kind of mysterious at times. It's a fun read.

A modern day magical story

This was a story set in real life that isn't in some crazy paranormal fantasy world where you have to keep up with some sort of fantasy backstory. It's about a girl who grew up in a small town, works as a waitress in a dinner and oh just so happens to have some magical abilities. I think the story was well done and has a few twists and turns that make it even better. If you are looking for a love story with a little bit of magic, I say give this story a try.

Book two better than book one!

I thoroughly enjoyed book one and book two doesn’t disappoint! It brings the sass and laugh out loud spots that you’d expect from Stacys story.

Fun story, but the what happened to our hero?

First of all, I truly liked Stacy - much more than I liked wishy washy Olivia in the first book. At least Stacy owned her mistakes. Ah Desmond - I really liked you, then I disliked you, then I really hated you, until I felt very sorry for you. But I wouldn't have forgiven you as easily as Stacy! As for Leo - dude WTF! Yes, I understand that you wanted keep Stacy from making a mistake, but leaving a girl to face down a monster on her own is a huge No No. I truly though Stacy deserved better than that!

Really great except for the end

HEA was totally rushed. Would have liked a bit more there. That’s my opinion anyway.
