Publisher's Summary

Q: HOW MANY ZOMBIES DOES IT TAKE TO RUIN A SOCIAL LIFE?
A: NOT MANY.

Megan Berry is a Zombie Settler by birth, which means she's part-time shrink to a whole bunch of semi-dead people with killer issues. All Megan really wants is to go to homecoming, but when you're trailed by a bunch of slobbering corpses whenever you leave the house, it's kinda hard to score a date. Let's just say Megan's love life could use some major resuscitation.

Megan's convinced her life can't get any worse - until someone in school starts using black magic to turn average, angsty Undead into scary, hardcore flesh-eating Zombies. Now it's up to Megan to stop the Zombie apocalypse. Her life - and more importantly, the homecoming dance - depends on it.

    "Pleasantly Surprised"

Because this book is priced so low and lacked any reviews, I was reluctant to spend the money. But I am so glad I did. This is a really good YA zombie book. It has a good plot, is interesting, and funny. I don't know if the author plans on writing a sequel/series based on this character, because she easily could, but if not the story ends in a good place and left me satisfied (I plan on purchasing more books written by this author in the future).

About the narrator: I think they got the right narrator for the book. She's got the right voice for a teenage girl and the performance is golden.

Overall, this audiobook is well worth the cost.

    "Cute Story!"

This book definitely captured the tumultuous feelings of adolescence. I did not expect much from this book, but I was definitely surprised. I fell into the drama surrounding Megan's crush, and was brought back to my own high school experience. I'm giving this book 4 stars because there was excessive character descriptions that seemed unnecessary and only functioned as filler. All in all, this is a great listen for readers of any age.

I read for pleasure and knowledge. I listen to audio books to keep my hands and mind busy. Reading tendencies for travel, adventure, mystery and swashbuckling are coupled with audio tendencies specific sound spectrums in narrators, somewhat limiting the audio shelves.

    "great amusing read"

loved the book - amusing - narrator suited the character wonderfully. Although I don't think I would want my teen to read this book - more of an adult book

    "Funny and entertaining!"
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I don't know what the tagline would be, but I could definitely see book being made into a movie!

    Any additional comments?

Thought this might be a cheesy little book, but I loved it! I'm glad I read the reviews and purchased it. It made my long holiday drive enjoyable.

    Story
"Even Zombies can go to the prom"
Is there anything you would change about this book?

Less focus on the pubescence thoughts of a teenage girl.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

    The genetics of vampire slayers.

What about Jessica Almasy’s performance did you like?

She took on the voice of the girl quite naturally.

Do you think You Are So Undead to Me needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No. This genre has been beaten to death. Sorry.

    Any additional comments?

I am sure there is a market for this kind of thing. My 12 year old son seemed to like it.

    "Better Than Expected"

This book wasn't written for my age group, but I enjoyed it a great deal. It was charming, suspenseful, and (considering it was about zombies) was very realistic.

The narrator was a perfect selection.

Even if teen angst is a long forgotten memory, listening to You Are So Undead to Me will jog those memories as you laugh out loud.
