The breathtaking fourth installment of the New York Times best-selling Shadow Falls series.
Shadow Falls Camp is back in session with the most explosive installment yet. A shocking new threat will rock Shadow Falls - changing it forever and altering Kylie’s journey in ways she never imagined.
Even at a camp for supernatural teens, Kylie Galen has never been normal. Not only can she see ghosts, but she doesn’t seem to belong to any one species - she exhibits traits from them all. As Kylie struggles to unlock the secrets of her identity, she begins to worry that Lucas will never be able to accept her for what she is, and what she isn’t… a werewolf. With his pack standing in their way, Kylie finds herself turning more and more to Derek, the only person in her life who's willing to accept the impossible.
As if life isn’t hard enough, she starts getting visits from the ghost of Holiday, her closest confidante. Trouble is, Holiday isn’t dead… not yet anyway. Now Kylie must race to save one of her own from an unseen danger before it’s too late - all while trying to stop her relationship with Lucas from slipping away forever.
In a world of constant confusion, there’s only one thing Kylie knows for sure: Change is inevitable and all things must come to an end… maybe even her time at Shadow Falls.

This was a dissapointing fourth book - nothing really happens the first 2/3 of the book and was quite boring and listening to all of the mundane details and filler inner dialogue of Kylee was annoying - it was apparent the author was trying to stretch the series out and didn't have enough material. It was so bad that I'm not going to take a risk on the 5th book in case it's no better. The narrator does a good job, but couldn't save the boring book. I do not recommend it.
I have read this series and although I have enjoyed it and am interested in learning how things turn out for Kylie, I am hoping that in future additions to this series that the story itself moves along a little more. Some issues and questions are dragging out a bit and resolutions to some of these are long overdue.
Im hoping that future installments contain some conclusion or even new areas to uncover or I may lose interest and let the remainder of this series go unread.
A series with great potential which goes nowhere. From first book to fourth, Kylie is immature and self-absorbed, lying not only to herself but to everyone she knows. Should have just read the first book four times.
I am a school counselor that loves horror, fantasy, autobiographies, self-help, and Christian genres. I am a BIG bookworm! Reading is life!
"So many crossroads...what or who will she choose?"
Wow! I am so ready to find out what is going to happen in the next book! A lot has happened in this book! So glad we FINALLY get to find out what she is..a chameleon!! I was frustrated when they were running around all confused about how she could be a chameleon and what does that mean. It made perfect sense to me..duh...she exhibits powers from all the supernaturals! Of course, there is more Deric versus Lucas stuff and she ultimately chooses Lucas but still debates over her feelings for Deric. My thing is...you need to drop Lucas because he's never there for you when Deric always is and he's always sexual with you...it's never deep conversations it's just "Oh man, I wanna screw you so badly right now!" We get to learn more about her grandfather and some new powers. Definitely some shocker moments and the ending is so sad!
"Can't wait for next volume"
Totally drawn in by the characters and the story
Emotional and interesting and not as predicable as expected.
"Enjoy the journey"
The series is easy listening and quite enjoyable, would be a good buy for anybody that's interested in the supernatural
Forget Twilight, Harry Potter or Fallen ... If you want a series packed with magic, vampires, fairies, ghosts, humour and a touch of teen drama - this is for you.
This series focuses on teenager Kylie Galen, who is sent to a summer camp for magical kids with problems. Its hilarious, dramatic and gripping.
