About this listen

Four high school seniors put their hopes, hearts, and humanity on the line as an asteroid hurtles toward Earth in this contemporary novel.

They always say that high school is the best time of your life.

Peter, the star basketball player at his school, is worried "they" might actually be right. Meanwhile Eliza can't wait to escape Seattle - and her reputation - and perfect-on-paper Anita wonders if admission to Princeton is worth the price of abandoning her real dreams. Andy, for his part, doesn't understand all the fuss about college and career - the future can wait.

Or can it? Because it turns out the future is hurtling through space with the potential to wipe out life on Earth. As these four seniors - along with the rest of the planet - wait to see what damage an asteroid will cause, they must abandon all thoughts of the future and decide how they're going to spend what remains of the present.

Would you consider the audio edition of We All Looked Up to be better than the print version?

I LOVE this book, in all forms. I read the hardcover in a couple days and felt like I wanted to experience the characters again-- so I had to have the audio version!!

Great story, fun characters!!

I truly enjoyed this audiobook, the twists at the end you can take it simply as it was written or you can see through it all on just how things changed. If you have an open mind this story just may open your eyes as well to something deeper. I truly felt each main character and what they showed themselves to be to the world compared to how they actually felt inside. These characters are the same as people in all our day to day lives.

Great reflection

This book definitely reminds me of a young adult reimagining of Stephen King's The Stand. The characters are vibrant, and the prose is expertly written.

Wonderful book!!

I thought the book was alright. I felt a lot was left to the imagination and felt like it skipped around a bit on some parts.

This entire book was playing with my emotions like tug-a-war. I couldn't put it down. I was crying so much on the road trip while reading this my aunt got me Starbucks to try and make me happy.

The ending is frustrating but I did really like the story as a whole. Relatable characters and a good use of modern language... not in a cringey way.
