Even at school and in the group project she's been thrown into, she can't escape it. Whispers when she's alone, shadows when no one is there to make them, and a distant pleading voice that wakes her from sleep. The other members in Miranda's group project, especially handsome Etienne, can see that Miranda is in distress. She is beginning to understand that, like her grandfather before her, she has a special gift of communicating with spirits who still walk the town of St. Yvette. And no matter where she turns, Miranda feels bound by their whispered pleas for help . . . unless she can somehow find a way to bring them peace.

I have not read the print version, but this was a great listen. Suzy Myers did a wonderful job of narrating.
The story-line was great.
I actually listened in 2 settings. If I had time it would have been one.
I agree with another listener: Audible WHERE IS SEQUEL??
YES! I love Cusick's work--read all her teen thrillers as a kid. Couldn't believe she started writing again and Walk of the Spirits is so different than her earlier work--better, more detailed, believable, and incredible.
Anything with Etienne. My goodness...yum!
No. But she's FANTASTIC!
I listened for hours straight. I couldn't put it down. When it ended, I was lost and didn't know what to do with myself. I NEED MORE! Audible where is the sequel??? YOU MADE ME BUY THE SEQUEL ON AMAZON! I'D RATHER HAVE THE TALENTED SUZY MYERS READ IT TO ME! SHE HAS THE ACCENTS DOWN! Because of the holiday I'll have to wait extra long to get the book from Amazon...still it was faster than the libraries or Barnes and Noble. BUT YOU SHOULDN'T PUNISH US WITH PROVIDING THE FIRST IN A SERIES ONLY! AHHHH!!!
AUDIBLE GIVE US THE SEQUEL BY THE SAME NARRATOR--THE TALENTED SUZY MYERS. I'D BE THE FIRST TO BUY IT!!!!
P.S. Thanks Audible for FINALLY having some of Cusick's other works available. I appreciate it.
