Spectacular Sequal🦋
Falling deep down the rabbit hole into Splintereds otherworldly Wonderland in all its wicked gloom & glory had me speculating whether my vivid imagination had enough creative cognition to continue immersing the fantastical yet dreary take on A dark wonderland through my head.
It was a happy surprise and a complete shift in tone and circumstance as this book takes place in the Human realm inciting the demented characters of the netherworld to tackle the next catastrophe Alyssa is met with.
I loved the change in scenery, proving that this doesn't need to rely strictly on the quirky rendition of the fairytale wonderland world to lead the story. Instead, the characters we grow to love and shrink to hate proves the story worthy as they appear in such ordinarily familiar locales such as well Alyssa’s high school prom & neighborhood job at the local thrift store ... My favorite book in the series 😘🤪🧚🏻♂️🧚🏻🧚🏻♀️

decent YA book
I liked this one more than the last one, it felt more organic, less forced. I found myself legit caring for the characters which is a bonus when you're reading a 4 part series, lol. I will say if you can get through the first one this one rewards you by tying in the previous elements from the last book as well and introducing new concepts but it doesn't seem like a facade in this book. it feels like an established mythos which is good.

Love this series!
I love this series! It is just so imaginative and it has everything...fantasy, danger, intrigue, love. I think this is the best "Alice" story that I have read or seen for that matter! If you like fairytales then you will LOVE this series! The author brings each of the characters to life and it is like she has dropped you into this topsy-turvy world of Wonderland. From the unique characters to the fantastical worlds you will be amazed at what the author brings to life. I hope everyone who reads these books enjoys them as much as I have. (These books would make INSANELY good movies I think) Enjoy your time in Wonderland.
