Publisher's summary

Back in Oregon, Kelsey tries to pick up the pieces of her life and push aside her feelings for Ren. But danger lurks around the corner, forcing her to return to India where she embarks on a second quest - this time with Ren's dark, bad-boy brother Kishan, who has also fallen prey to the Tiger's Curse. Fraught with danger, spellbinding dreams, and choices of the heart, Tiger's Quest brings the trio one step closer to breaking the spell that binds them.

Critic reviews

"Forget vampires and werewolves, tigers are the new hottest thing. The second book in Houck's Tiger's Curse series features a love triangle, passion and nonstop action. It's a guaranteed page-turner with a huge twist at the end that will leave you breathless." ( RT Book Reviews)

Fantanstic!!!!

Would you listen to Tiger's Quest again? Why?

Yes and I probably will. This is a book that I can get lost in and I miss it now that it is over.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Picking a favorite is impossible. All the characters are built beautifully and they feel like real people to you.

What about Annika Boras’s performance did you like?

Conversations come to life in her narrations.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This series is full of "moments". So many times, i caught myself holding my breath.

Any additional comments?

This is a series that I have lost myself in. I have fallen in love with the characters, laughed and cried in this series. I am anxiously awaiting book 4 and I miss the characters in this series in between books. I will come back to this series again and again.

Keeps getting better!!!

Sequel to Tiger???s Curse (read my review), this book takes off where the last one left you!!! The writing only gets better and the plot thickens??? This is a must read for those who love action, adventure, foreign places, and a little romance. My whole family loves this series and we can???t wait for the next one to be released.

Kinda slow... or too fast.

What did you like best about this story?

I love that there are princes and tigers. Very good!

What about Annika Boras’s performance did you like?

She sounded down to earth, just like Kelsey. :)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Makes me laugh alot! And sad about the relationships.... I love Ren!

Any additional comments?

Very good book and I liked the reader, but she spoke so slowly. When I sped it up it was too fast LOL! But this book is WAY too good to worry about it. :D

Magical

One of the most original and interesting story lines in years. I actually listened to the first 2 books after reading them several years ago. This story is a little slow getting started but the last 3/4 of first book and following 3 books are so good, its worth the slow character development up front.

Lacking the Spark of the First

What about Annika Boras’s performance did you like?

As with the first, her narration was full of emotion, and each character had a distinct voice and personality. She does accents really well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had no extreme reaction, but I did feel disappointed compared to the first book. Any originality from the first book has disappeared. I was left listening to a very typical angst-filled YA supernatural book, complete with the typical love triangle, too many descriptions of what the characters ate every meal, and an exciting adventure that took a backseat to the heroine's guilt about which guy she should choose. Kelsey was the most disappointing. She went from spunky and adventurous to depressing and mopey over Ren for a vast majority of the book.

Any additional comments?

Although I'm going to finish the series, I think that I'm going to have to switch over to reading the books. This one was tough enough to listen to, and I might need to skim over all the food descriptions and angst if I'm going to make it through the rest of the series.

Kishan

I love him and hate him. He don't leave. Plus Kelsey is just as bad. I would have up ur him or shocked him every time he tried something. Also I don't like how she didn't allow neither Ren nor Kishan to explain anything before hand. Like when she saw Ren in her dream and he was trying to tell her what would happen it Druga protected him.

A great read

I downloaded Tiger's Curse first because of all the positive reviews I read here about it. I was very glad I did. Although, Im in my 40's, and these books may be geared more for the young adult, I was thrilled with the story and really connected with the characters.

Finishing the first I immediately downloaded Tiger's Quest and was still very pleased with the story, characters, and action.

The third book, Tiger's Voyage is due to be released November 2011 and I can hardly wait.

Try them, you won't regret it.

Annika Boras also made this a great listen, she does a wonderful job and brings a true voice to each character.

Very Enjoyable

I got this book based on other reviews and was not disapointed. Exclellent narration and a good overall story. Got the 2nd and 3rd books and they get even better! Loving this series!
