Publisher's summary

Hot romance is the cure for heartbreak in this sequel to The Vincent Boys.

Getting a boy to fall head-over-heels in love with you isn’t easy. Especially when he’s been in love with your cousin for as long as you can remember.

Lana has lived her life in her cousin’s shadow. Ashton always made perfect grades, had tons of friends, and looks model perfect. And she’s always had Sawyer Vincent - the only boy Lana’s ever wanted - wrapped around her finger. But now things are different. Lana has a chance to make Sawyer see her, and she’s taking it. If only he’d get over Ashton - because Lana is sick of second-best.

Sawyer’s heart is broken. He’s lost his best girl to his best friend. And then Lana comes to town. Ashton’s cousin has always been sweet and soft-spoken, but now she’s drop-dead gorgeous as well. Sawyer doesn’t know if Lana can heal his broken heart, but spending time with her might at least make Ashton jealous.

What starts as a carefree fling becomes a lusty game of seduction. Sawyer and Lana may have different motives, but their scintillating hookups are the same kind of steamy....

Sawyer and Lana’s romance just got steamier in this companion to the original that includes scandalous, heart-pounding scenes.

Sequel to The Vincent Boys

Would you listen to another book narrated by Kirby Heyborne and Shayna Thibodeaux ?

I would definitely listen to another book narrated by Kirby Heyborne. However, Shayna Thibodeaux's narration was slow paced and she sounded like she was bored.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The point were Sawyer confronted his dad about Bo deeply affected me.

Any additional comments?

Overall, good book. In my opinion not as good as The Vincent Boys.

Few things seem to of been missing from the story

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Get rid of Kirby and add in a few more details to the story line itself. It almost felt like a wham bam thank you mam kind of thing. The love between the 2 seems to of been rushed. The story moved really fast which I do love but it kind of felt empty in some parts at the same time.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

When Shayna read it did but when Kirby read, NO! He sounds like he is 13 in the middle of the change and hasn't came into his man's voice yet. Plus the way he would latterly shout out the parts when the Hero or other male's would get mad in the book sounded awful! He sounded like a little girl throwing a hissy fit.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes, surprisingly.

Any additional comments?

If they would just stop using Kirby to narrate. My ratting would of been higher. The story line was really good . And listening to Shayna's performance was awesome. I wish she would of done the whole book.

Good and angsty

Nothing like some Abbi Gline angst. But it's hard to read two in a row. Which I did on this reread.
Great narration.

Amazing Story

First of all the narrators are amazing and I could listen to every audiobook they have done. I loved the Vincent Brothers and Vincent Boys books. I have to say while everyone is a Beau fan, I am going to go with I am a Sawyer fan and so glad him and Lana ended up together. The feelings you feel during this series is just amazing and you root for the guys and girls and then you are like what the HE double hockey sticks did they do that for. Great writing by Abbi and I definitely wouldn't mind more of this series. Maybe some babies?

I just don't know

Writing this review for both Vincent Boy novels.
I didn't hate this book, I kinda liked it, and its very hot...but it makes me feel dirty and not in the good way
This is more erotic romance than mature YA romance. I like both genres but am unsettled by the two mixing. First love and vague details of their sweet pairing is great, but this was Teen Smut, like "Barely-legal" porn...I'm not wholly OK with that.
I myself was a sexually active teen, and teens being sexually active is not going to change, but that doesn't make it a good thing and this feels like encouragement! For a teenage girl, with little sexual experience, picking up the Vincent Boys novels could amp up her imagination to the point of thinking about little else. Its hard enough to get their hormones in check long enough to go do something productive and stories like this will kill the efforts.
Then if these novels are not marketed for teens then I feel a little like a pedophile, which is worse!
Make the decision for yourself. I'm not really trying to discourage the purchase of these novels, but I felt the need to share my feelings as a sort of warning incase someone possesses the same views.
