I am glad I gave this book a chance
This is not the type of book I typically go for. I am going to enjoy listening to more books in the series. I recently discovered this author and I find myself getting lost in the books.

Great Summer Listen
I read a review that described this book as the Huger Games meets the Bachelor, and I think it perfectly describes this book. I have even used that description when recommending this book to my friends. It was the perfect pool listen for my summer vacation!

very bittersweet story.
What made the experience of listening to The Selection the most enjoyable?
Fast moving, light yet intense at times. The elite was great too. Girls/women that like dystopian novels with much romance this was it. Sweet and witty.
Who was your favorite character and why?
All well created characters, some more redeeming than others.
What about Amy Rubinate’s performance did you like?
She's pretty good, not my favorite, but in the top 10 narrator's for me, and I have hundreds of audio books.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I probably could have, but I'm somewhat an addict of audiobooks!

Good YA book
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I agree, it ends strangely. I downloaded it again and listened to the end again to try to figure out what happened. It just seems to stop mid story without obvious climax and resolution.
Was The Selection worth the listening time?
Yes. It was good for car traveling

Great Opening Novel
I can't wait for the next novel in the series! This is the first novel I've read by Kiera Cass, and I can definitely tell you it won't be the last! Loved the book, the Intrigue, the pace...
Overall, extremely satisfying and worth the price.
