Mind candy
Think Hunger Games + The Bachelor = The Selection Series
It's fun reading, a bit if mind candy. Doesn't take a lot of energy to read. If you are looking for a diversion and enjoy the traditional rags to riches story line then this one should hit home for you. I'm looking forward to the next story in the line.

Good enough short listen
The story itself is pretty basic. It follows the life of America through a love triangle. The romance is slow moving and rushed towards the end of the book. But it’s nice just to have on over the weekend as you’re cleaning or catching up on work.
The narrator is SO monotone it literally sounds like Siri or an Alexa is reading the story to you. You get more used to it as the story progresses though.

Basically the bachelor show
I get that fictional stories are usually too perfect, but some of story had me rolling my eyes from time to time. It is what it is though, and at least the story is interesting for the most part. The narrator is absolutely horrible. Monotone voice, very boring sounding. Even when the story reached a exciting moment the reader sounded like a robot.

Wonderful book!
This is a great story! looking forward to book 2! The narrator did a great job! I was hooked at chapter 1! It reminds me of the hunger games & tdd he divergent series but with more romance! The author is amazing! Very detailed! Loved the characters! Can't say enough wonderful things about this series!
